1. General terms
These Terms of Service govern the relationship regarding the international eSIM data products and services provided through datasim.world.
"Datasim" (hereinafter "we") is a platform that provides international eSIM data services to customers.
"Customer" means an individual or legal entity purchasing products or services through datasim.world.
By using the website, making a purchase or activating a service, the customer is deemed to have fully accepted these terms.
2. Device requirements
To use the eSIM service, the customer must meet the following:
- ✓Have an eSIM-compatible device
- ✓The device must be network-unlocked
- ✓Check device compatibility yourself before purchase
⚠️ Datasim is not liable for issues arising from not checking device compatibility.
3. Products & services
Datasim provides the eSIM data service only in countries and regions where the network is available.
Speed, quality and coverage may vary depending on the local operator, network conditions and device capabilities.
- •Changes to products, services and coverage are announced through official channels
- •We are not liable for faults or interruptions caused by the device
- •Service may be temporarily limited during system updates or maintenance
4. Payments
- ✓The customer pays in full using a payment method offered on datasim.world
- ✓The eSIM service activates after payment is successfully confirmed
- ✓No service is provided if payment fails
5. Refunds & compensation
✔️ Conditions for a 100% refund
- •The eSIM installation failed solely due to a system error
- •The request was made within 3 days of purchase
- •All required evidence was fully provided
✔️ Conditions for a partial refund
- •The eSIM activated but did not work properly due to a system error
- •Screenshots, recordings or other evidence were provided
❌ No refund
- •The eSIM has already been used
- •The customer did not check device compatibility
- •The device was carrier-locked
- •The issue was caused by incorrect settings by the customer
💰 Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after the request is confirmed.
6. Unlimited data plan terms
- ✓Unlimited data plans are subject to a Fair Usage Policy (FUP). After using a certain amount of high-speed data set by the operator, the internet speed may be temporarily reduced.
- ✓The FUP amount and speed limits vary by the local operator's policy, network and plan. When the speed is reduced, the data service does not stop and you can keep using the internet until the plan expires.
- ✓This is a standard condition applied not only by Datasim.world but by most operators and eSIM providers worldwide for unlimited data plans.
7. Complaints & disputes
Customers may send feedback, requests or complaints through the following channels:
In case of a dispute, the parties will first seek mutual agreement; if none is reached, it will be resolved under the laws of Mongolia.
8. Other
The customer confirms that they have fully read, understood and voluntarily accepted these Terms of Service.
Datasim reserves the right to amend these terms when necessary; the updated version takes effect once published on the website.
9. Korean numbered SIM and physical SIM
SIMs with a Korean 010 number, and physical SIMs, work differently from our standard eSIM plans. Please read the following before purchase:
- 1.Activation requires a clear passport scan/photo AND a selfie holding the passport. This is a requirement of Korean telecom law, not a Datasim policy.
- 2.Passport details must be submitted within 7 days of payment. If they are not, the order is cancelled and 50% of the amount paid is withheld as a cancellation fee.
- 3.A numbered SIM can only be activated after the customer has entered Korea. Activation takes roughly 2 hours after entry is confirmed, during operating hours (10:00–19:00 KST).
- 4.Physical SIMs are collected by the customer at Incheon International Airport (Terminal 1 or 2). They are not shipped to Mongolia.
- 5.The assigned 010 number is drawn from those available at activation. A specific number cannot be guaranteed.
- 6.Checking device compatibility before purchase is the customer's responsibility. No refund is available for incompatibility discovered after activation.
- 7.Physical SIM plans may be issued as an eSIM for an additional fee, which is included in the price shown at checkout.
🔒 Passport images and selfies are used solely to activate the SIM and verify identity. They are transmitted to the Korean service provider through a secure channel and are automatically deleted from our systems seven days after activation. Submitting them constitutes your consent to that transfer.
